Participants continued treatment for 12 weeks with the cream. The mean duration of treatment was 36 months. There were 3,814 adverse events reported among the women treated with the cream.
The study’s results show that terbinafine cream was more effective than placebo in preventing the skin disease from developing. In addition, terbinafine cream caused fewer skin and mucous membranes irritation than placebo. The overall incidence of fungal infections was lower in women treated with the cream. The rate of dermatitis was lower in women treated with the cream. Both topical and oral terbinafine were significantly more effective than placebo in preventing the development of fungal infections in women.
The study’s results also showed that terbinafine cream can be used to treat a variety of skin conditions, including itching, redness, and skin irritation. The authors of the study suggest that terbinafine cream may be a useful treatment for treating these conditions.
